Xia Li Seemingly Injured During WWE SmackDown

Xia Li made headlines after being the first Chinese talent to join WWE a few years ago. Li worked in NXT and was involved in many storylines during her time there. She also may have suffered an injury recently.

Li finally debuted on a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown last year. After that, Xia Li only made her in-ring debut back in February and was then gone for a long time.

Xia Li would then become a heel back in April but nothing much was done with her after that. Xia Li also lost her Money in the Bank qualifier against Lacey Evans on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

As revealed by a fan video, referee Charles Robinson and a medical staffer could be seen checking up on Li who was still on the mat in the ring. They would then get out of the ring but Li needed to be helped by the doctor and Robinson while going through the crowd to the backstage area. 

It is not known whether Xia Li suffered a serious injury or not and we hope that is not the case. We will keep you updated on her condition.
