Gunther Reacts To His WWE Intercontinental Title Win

Gunther had an amazing run in NXT UK as he became the longest-reigning champion in modern WWE by holding the NXT UK Title for a record 870 days. He would drop the title to Ilja Dragunov at NXT TakeOver 36. The former WALTER also had a great week on SmackDown.

Gunther eventually made his way to the US as part of the NXT roster as well. Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser made their main roster debut on Friday Night Smackdown earlier this year.

Gunter also won the Intercontinental Championship on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Gunther took to Twitter and reacted to his win, as he tweeted three images of himself alongside Ludwig Kaiser captioned, “Berg und Tal!” which translates to “Rollercoaster” or “Riding on a Rollercoaster.”

WWE is clearly high on Gunther right now. It remains to be seen how he will be booked in the coming weeks as the Intercontinental Champion.
