Freddie Prinze Jr. Wants To Bring In Killer Kross For His Pro Wrestling Company

Killer Kross was one of the top Superstars in NXT, as he eventually won the NXT Championship on two separate occasions. However, his main roster run was dull and forgettable in comparison. Freddie Prinze Jr. wants to bring Killer Kross for his promotion, so the story is far from over for Kross.

Kross was eventually let go by WWE after getting stuck with a gimmick he had no desire of getting into. Following his release, Kross eventually made his way back to the independent circuit alongside his wife Scarlett Bordeaux.

While speaking on his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, Freddie Prinze Jr. talked about pro wrestlers he wants to bring for his upcoming pro wrestling promotion. The actor named Killer Kross as someone he wants in his promotion and even reached out to him.

Kross is definitely a cat that I like.” However, he noted, “There’s a lot of guys out there,” that he’s currently interested in signing.

I was like, ‘Dude, oh, what’s up, man? You and your girl are like the satanic, super hot Macho Man and Elizabeth.’ I said, ‘Man, I love what you guys are doing over there, for real.’ So that’s when he and I first met,” Prinze Jr. said. “So as soon as he was gone, he was one of the first guys that I reached out to. I said, ‘Hey man, whatever you sign, make sure the contract is up in about a year-and-a-half.’”

Killer Kross’ email also blew up with offers after his WWE release. Killer Kross also previously locked down his ring name. We’ll have to see whether Kross ends up joining the actor’s promotion or not.
