CM Punk made his debut last year at AEW Rampage: The First Dance and since then, he has become one of the mainstays of AEW programming. In fact, fans couldn’t be happier to see just how much Punk is enjoying his current run in AEW.

Following his debut, CM Punk has consistently competed in worthwhile matches and engaged in memorable feuds. The likes of Eddie Kingston and MJF and Adam Page come to mind.

While speaking in an interview with the Associated Press, CM Punk stated that his AEW run so far has been nothing short of a miracle.

They’ve rekindled something inside of me that I thought honestly was long dead. I used to love professional wrestling and I fell out of love with it. I think when you love something so much you can hold on to it so tight it can ruin that thing for you. But there’s almost no reason to dwell on that anymore.

I like the youthful enthusiasm that everybody has backstage and it has rekindled my love for it. So these past nine months has been nothing short of kind of like a miracle. I’m enjoying every step of the way,”

CM Punk has already undergone successful surgery. CM Punk’s exact recovery time isn’t known but he is unlikely to be out of action for a long time. We’ll have to see when the Second City Saint comes back.
