Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have brought him worldwide fame and acclaim as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. He had a solid run as the AEW World Champion last year. Mick Foley also commented on Kenny Omega turning down an offer with WWE.

The Cleaner made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

While speaking on his podcast Foley is Pod, Mick Foley talked about the importance of having talent outside such as Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Foley stated that he believes Omega turning down an offer with WWE was great for business.

“The Young Bucks did it, Kenny Omega did it. Kenny didn’t have the national platform like a WCW, a WWE, but he did have an opportunity to go there and said ‘No, I’m good,’ and that’s great for business.”

Kenny Omega is currently undergoing cutting edge treatment for his injury recovery. Kenny Omega isn’t anywhere near close to an in-ring return either. It remains to be seen when Omega will come back. Either way, Mick Foley will likely be watching.
