Adam Cole is certainly one of the most skilled in-ring competitors in the pro wrestling world right now. After having a tremendous career in NXT where he became the top star for a long time, he parted ways with WWE for the next stage of his career. He has also been dealing with several injuries.

After making his debut at AEW All Out last year, Adam Cole has been involved in a variety of matches, largely against mid-card stars. The winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament suffered an injury at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view as well.

According to Fightful Select, Cole has been “banged up for quite a while” and that he has been “battling a series of injuries” for longer than many others think. It was said that he has been dealing with a labrum injury as far back as his feud with Adam Page.

It was reported that  Cole’s labrum was actually torn during his rivalry with Page. In spite of his injuries, Cole is expected to compete at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view this month.

We will have to wait and see who will end up being Adam Cole’s opponent at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. Odds are, it will be a great match regardless of who he will face.
