Sean Waltman and Kane had a memorable run as two-time WWE Tag Team Champions in the late 1990s. Ultimately, X-Pac turned on his partner and stole his girlfriend. The two had a memorable rivalry that culminated at WrestleMania 2000. Kane and Waltman were very close.

Kane is currently the mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee. His libertarian politics lean heavily toward the far-right. In the wake of the Uvalde, Texas school shooting, the mayor took to social media to downplay the ongoing epidemic of gun violence in the United States.

“Every violent death is a tragedy. That said, the mainstream media would have you believe that America is the land of gun violence and mass shootings when, in fact, as @HannahDCox points out, our per capita rates of gun deaths are actually much lower than many other countries.”

Sean Waltman was heartbroken upon reading the post. He did not hesitate to share his feelings publicly. Waltman cannot understand why Glenn Jacobs would make such a short-sighted statement.

“Breaks my heart reading this shit from you. Wtf man?!”

Firearms are the leading cause of death in children in the United States, beating out auto accidents and cancer. Glenn Jacobs’ twisting of facts to fit his narrative has left his old friend very disappointed.
