It’s Friday night, and you know what that means, it’s time for AEW Rampage and Ringside News has you covered with live results.

Rampage tonight will see The Lucha Bros take on The Young Bucks in the latest match in their storied rivalry.
Rampage will also feature the in-ring debut of Athena as she takes on Kiera Hogan as well as Scorpio Sky defending his TNT Championship against Dante Martin.
It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.
Rampage
The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Bros
Our opening tag team match begins with Penta and Matt Jackson in the ring. After exchanging signature taunts Penta goes for the fear factor but Matt avoids it. After avoiding several moves Rey Fenix and Nick Jackson are both tagged in. Off a distraction The Young Bucks take the opportunity to double team Fenix. From out of nowhere Penta hits a dive over the top rope to take out both Matt and Nick and Fenix follows with a dive of his own. Back in the ring Matt locks in the sharshooter but Fenix makes it to the ropes. Nick takes out Penta with a huricanrana on the outside.

The match continues live with Fenix hitting a kick and going for a dive, Matt catches Fenix and hits with a northern lights suplex. Nick tags in and hits a senton and covers for two. Fenix hits a diving foot stomp and Penta hits a DDT. Fenix hits a dive to the outside to Nick causing them to crash into the barricade. Fenix hits a frog splash but Matt kicks out of the cover at two. Lucha Bros go for a doomsday suplex but Nick springboards in to hit a drop kick to Fenix and Matt follows with an elbow drop. Fenix hits a splash off Penta’s shoulders with Penta on the top rope and Nick kicks out at two. Nick hits Fenix with a superkick and then hits the poisonrana. The Young Bucks hit a double superkick and then hit the Meltzer driver and cover but Penta breaks the cover at two. Matt Jackson rips the mask off Penta’s head and double superkick him to the outside with Penta covering his face. The Young Bucks hit Fenix with the BTE trigger and cover for three.

Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks vs unnamed Team
The match opens with Starks hitting a quick lariat and tagging Hobbs in. Whilewe cut to a split screen of a backstage interview of Hobbs and Starks, Hobbs covers for the three count.

Kiera Hogan vs Athena
The match begins with Hogan hitting a strong right hand shot. Athena rolls through and hits a flying cross body. Athena hits a knee strike and Athena goes for a springboard but Red Velvet runs up and trips Athena up with the referee distracted.

Back live with Athena ducking a lariat and hitting a drop kick. Athena hits a handspring elbow strike and then goes up top but Hogan drags her down to the mat and hits a huricanrana. Athena goes up top and hits the eclipse and covers for three.
Winner: Athena
New AEW World Champion CM Punk makes his way out for his much-anticipated announcement. With tears in his eyes, Punk says that when he arrived to the arena, every bone in his body was hurt. Punk says that everybody live here deserves an explanation. Punk says the last thing he wanted was for any fan to be disappointed in him. CM Punk announces that he is injured and requires surgery, but that he intends to keep fighting on and that he’s come back from worse. Punk then mentions the AEW World Championship, Punk says he does not want to hold anyone back, and CM Punk announces he will be relinquishing the AEW World Championship.

Scorpio Sky vs Dante Martin
Our main event begins with Scorpio Sky backing Dante to the corner. Scorpio Sky hits a kick to the leg to halt Dante’s momentum. Scorpio Sky has Dante in a chin lock on the mat. Dante is able to get to his feet and throw Scorpio over the top rope and Dante hits a dive to the outside. Back in the ring Dante hits a shotgun drop kick off the top rope and Dante covers for two. Ethan Page trips up Dante while the ref is distracted. Dante hits a TKO and covers for a two count. Scorpio Sky hits a TKO of his own and makes the cover for the three count.
Winner: Scorpio Sky
