Asuka is one of the most respected members of Monday Night RAW’s women’s division. The Empress of Tomorrow was also one of the highlights of the women’s division on RAW throughout the pandemic. WWE was also criticized for how they have been booking Asuka as of late.
After a very long hiatus, Aska made her return to WWE television and immediately started feuding with Becky Lynch. She eventually made her way to the RAW Women’s Title picture as well.
Asuka also ended up losing to Bianca Belair on Monday Night RAW. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray criticized WWE for how they have been booking Asuka leading up to WWE Hell In A Cell.
“Either they don’t care about Asuka or Asuka is going over at the pay-per-view. Dave this is a way to get all three women on TV before the Hell in a Cell event, right? We’re one week out from the Cell? There you go, it’s a way to get all three women on and just progress the story forward.”
Asuka is set to square off against Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. We wonder whether Asuka will win the title or not. Obviously, the original plan was scrapped with Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out, leaving Belair without an opponent. Fans would love to see Asuka become a champion again, so we’ll have to wait until Sunday to see how it turns out.
