Bryan Danielson is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, having honed his craft in numerous pro wrestling companies over the years. The American Dragon remains one of the best things about AEW and is truly passionate about the business. Danielson also wants to wrestle multiple matches every week in AEW.

Danielson has taken part in high profile matches since his debut in AEW. He has duked it out against the likes of Kenny Omega, Minoru Suzuki and many others.

While speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Bryan Danielson talked about the number of matches he wants to wrestle every month. Danielson said he wants to wrestle 10 matches a month.

“I actually feel I’m at my best when I wrestle about 10 matches a month. When I do only a match a week, I see the difference. I’ll ask myself, ‘Why didn’t I do this?’ Or I’ll see something wasn’t as sharp as it used to be. I’m also lucky to wrestle once a week. That’s great for family life. But I’m a little bit of a perfectionist, so I’m not sure it’s great for wrestling technique. When I watch my stuff back and critique myself, I’m hard on myself and want to make sure everything is sharp.”

According to the wrestling database site Cagematch, Danielson hasn’t competed in more than seven matches a month. The last time he worked 10 matches a month was back in November 2019 in WWE, where he wrestled 11 matches on Friday Night Smackdown. We’ll have to see what AEW has in store for The American Dragon.
