Vince McMahon is the chairman of WWE and is one of the most controversial names in the pro wrestling world. He is also a bizarre human being, but there is a method to his madness. AJ Lee is certainly grateful she got to work with Vince McMahon as well.

AJ Lee came to WWE at a point where women were still not given much respect. Lee ended up changing that as she is given credit for helping to jumpstart the WWE’s Women’s Revolution.

While speaking with Renee Paquette on The Sessions, AJ Lee stated that her favorite promo was the infamous Pipe Bombshell. She then explained how Vince McMahon helped her write the promo.

“The Pipe Bombshell, I loved that one. I remember like I got bullet points from Vince, like, that was our thing. He’d give me bullet points and then just trust me. And I remember, I came to the back and he gave me a kiss on the cheek and he said, ‘Great job.’ And then he said don’t pace as much in the beginning, like, be a little more steady on your feet. But I remember we had that kind of relationship where he was very proud of promo stuff, so I was like, ‘Oh, I did a good promo.’ And I had no idea about everything that would happen after; it’d cause 6 months of pay-per-view title matches.”

AJ Lee is also unlikely to make an in-ring return despite CM Punk’s success. It remains to be seen how AJ Lee will perform in her role as an executive producer and commentator for Women of Wrestling, once it starts.
