Joey Janela captured more than a few headlines when he set his boot on fire and proceeded to pull off a superkick. He later joked about burning his foot, and it was a scary situation. Apparently, the Bad Boy is fine.
During an appearance on “Business of the Business,” GCW’s Brett Lauderdale was asked about Joey Janela’s foot. He said that Joey is A-Okay after that scary spot.
“His foot is totally fine. Not so much as the most minimal burn left over somehow.”
“He’s good. He’s healthy. He’s in the best shape of his career. He’s focused, he’s having fun, and he’s motivated. So right now, Joey Janela is at his best in my opinion.”
Janela set his boot on fire and proceeded to hit Drew Parker with a Flaming Superkick. He might have supposed that the flame would go out thanks to the power of his kick, but that was not the case at all. Thankfully, things are okay now, because they could have certainly been worse.
