Jeff Hardy has accomplished a lot in every company he has worked for. The Charismatic Enigma has made a career out of doing death-defying stunts for the enjoyment of fans. At his age, it seems all the dangerous moves have finally become too much for him.

Jeff Hardy teamed up with his brother Matt and squared off against The Young Bucks at AEW Double Or Nothing. In the end, The Hardys won the match. However, Jeff Hardy was noticeably slow during the match as well.

Jeff Hardy was also pulled from a huge tag team match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Jeff Hardy was “a mess” heading into Double Or Nothing.

This is likely due to his match against Darby Allin a few weeks prior on AEW Dynamite. It is also the reason why he was pulled from Dynamite in the first place.

Jeff Hardy was a mess going into Double Or Nothing. From what I was told, it was really the Darby Allin match – he was beat up. When he went to AEW, you can watch those highlight reels and see how he did some big stunts at his age and he’s paying for it now.

We will have to wait and see when Jeff Hardy will make his return to AEW television. Fans would agree that Hardy should really tone it down for his own sake as well.
