Kazuchika Okada Announces He Is Going To Be A Father

Kazuchika Okada has been a part of legendary moments in pro wrestling, but he’s about to enter into a new phase in his personal life. The NJPW star is set to become a father.

Suzuko Mimori announced that she is pregnant with her first child with Okada Kazuchika and is expected to give birth in August. A new interview has also surfaced that top NJPW superstar and current IWGP world heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada is going to be a father.

The couple told Yahoo Japan that they are going to be parents this August. Okada married the famous voice actress, Suzuko Mimori, back in 2019. Mimori is expected to give birth in August.

Earlier this year, Okada was asked about possibly becoming a father and said that he would not stop his child from wanting to be a wrestler.

“I can’t say anything because it’s a little ahead of the story …” I was allowed to do what I wanted to do, so I don’t think I can say “Pro-wrestling? No, ” Okada said.

Okada is a five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and holds the record for the longest reign at 720 days, as well as for more title defenses at 12. He previously won the world title from Shingo Takagi at this year’s WrestleKingdom 16 pay-per-view.
