MJF managed to cause pandemonium before Double Or Nothing after he no-showed the AEW fan fest event. That was just the beginning as the entire day was full of chaos and rumors after that. There is now evidence that MJF never even booked a flight out of Las Vegas.

Initially, it was believed that flight was booked for him to go home and this certainly worried fans who wanted to see him face Wardlow at Double Or Nothing. In fact, his Double Or Nothing status was up in the air.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there is actual evidence that MJF had never even booked a flight out of Las Vegas in the first place, adding that there were no records in the database.

”They believed a flight was booked and they had seen evidence that a flight was booked. Without giving away too much information, we did have someone who was able to see – basically, there was no record in the system that Maxwell Friedman was booked for this flight. There were the records of the flight he was going to take after the ppv, but there were no records of the flight scheduled for yesterday. There was no flight that he took, he was here in Las Vegas the whole time.”
