AEW Double or Nothing will be taking place this Sunday and unsurprisingly, some drama ensued before the event. This is because MJF no-showed the AEW fan fest event and a lot of things entailed after that. MJF is also still in Las Vegas despite all the rumors of him being furious and all the chaos that ensued after that.

A flight was then booked for him to go home and this certainly worried fans who wanted to see him face Wardlow at Double Or Nothing. In fact, his Double Or Nothing status was up in the air.

Thankfully, some positive news regarding the situation has now been given. According to PW Insider, MJF is still in Las Vegas, which means he did not actually fly back to the East Coast.

For those who are asking (and there are a LOT of you), we are told MJF is still in Las Vegas as of this writing, which would mean he did not fly back to the East Coast, which until an hour or so ago remained a possibility.

For those who are asking if the situation is a work, that is a big NO, but obviously everything can be retroactively converted into one if everyone gets on the same page.

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it is likely MJF will fulfil his obligations and face off against Wardlow. Regardless, this situation continues to be a developing one and we’ll keep you updated on it.
