William Regal’s contributions to the pro wrestling world will forever be remembered and appreciated. Lord Regal is considered a genius in the business and it is not hard to see why. He had plans to sign Ricky Starks and other AEW stars to NXT, but it was not to be.
Following his WWE release earlier this year, William Regal made his debut in AEW during the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. Regal is now leading the Blackpool Combat Club along with Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta.
Talksport’s Alex McCarthy recently took to Twitter and reported that Willaim Regal planned to sign Ricky Starks, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia to NXT. This was before WWE decided to change directions with NXT.

William Regal also fully supports the current version of NXT. Regal will forever be grateful for his many years in WWE as well. He is happy in AEW right now and that is what matters.
