Sasha Banks and Naomi have become the talk of the town after they walked out in the middle of WWE Raw last week. This led to rampant discussions, as many fans felt Sasha Banks and Naomi were being ungrateful to the company. Corey Graves also toned down what Vince McMahon wrote about the two of them.

Corey Graves said Banks and Naomi “unceremoniously and unprofessionally walked out” of Monday Night RAW. Graves would fire back at all the criticism for what he said as well.

While speaking on Unlocking the Cage, Jimmy Smith revealed that while Vince McMahon did give Graves that line, Corey Graves actually toned it down.

“What I don’t get at all is the heat that my broadcast partner, Corey Graves, is getting. They gave him something to read and much like Michael Cole, he toned it down a little bit. But guys, Michael Cole and Corey Graves aren’t making this stuff up. People are getting mad at them like they’re freestyling this stuff. They’re not.

If Vince said, ‘Here, read this’, I would have done exactly what Michael Cole did. Graves is getting all this sh*t. Graves didn’t make up that statement. He’s a broadcaster and was told to read it and he read it. So I understand the ire of the fans, but the misdirection is weird.”

WWE was also blasted for calling Sasha Banks and Naomi’s walkout unprofessional. As previously reported, WWE is sending a message to talent with the on-screen burial of Sasha Banks and Naomi. It remains to be seen whether they will stick with WWE or not.
