Cody Rhodes helped found All Elite Wrestling. The American Nightmare used to pull double duty as an on-screen talent and Executive Vice President. He’s no longer with AEW but that doesn’t mean he has any ill-will towards his former employer.

The American Nightmare recently reacted to a fan’s tweet who stated that they will not be watching Double or Nothing this Sunday because the former TNT champion is no longer with the promotion. Cody responded by saying that he left the company because he thought it was time to move on to bigger things.

Cody is considered to be Vince McMahon’s vision for what a talent should be. WWE is pulling out all the stops to make Cody the biggest babyface of the company. His presentation in the company is reportedly paying dividends. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for the American Nightmare.
