Britt Baker Would Love To Wrestle Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks walked out of last week’s WWE Monday Night Raw over creative differences. Banks was immediately suspended indefinitely. Now, her future with the company is up in the air.

Many fans have speculated that Sasha Banks might want out of WWE. WWE may well freeze her contract, preventing her from working elsewhere. If she were to be released, AEW seems the most likely landing spot.

Britt Baker spoke to Forbes about the situation. The former AEW Women’s World Champion noted that Sasha is a very hot topic right now. Britt said she would love the opportunity to wrestle her someday.

“Since it’s a pretty hot topic right now, I’m going to say Sasha Banks.…I think she is one of the top draws in all of WWE. She’s such a superstar, she’s such a good wrestler. She’s definitely somebody that I would love to wrestle.”

Britt is currently competing in AEW’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Baker is scheduled to take on Toni Storm in a semifinal match on tonight’s Dynamite. The winner will go on to Sunday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view to face the winner of Friday’s bout between Ruby Soho and Kris Statlander.

A matchup between Britt Baker and Sasha Banks would qualify for many fans as a “dream match.” As thing stands right now, it is unlikely to happen any time soon. Britt would love to see it go down sometime in the future.
