Another WWE NXT Superstar Getting Name & Gimmick Change

WWE’s developmental brand is always going through changes. The black and white brand of old is no longer around and NXT 2.0 brought a huge shift. Those changes are far from over.

Fabian Aichner used to be part of Imperium alongside Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser, and they dominated NXT with an iron fist. However, that all hanged after Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser were called up to the main roster. Aichner is now likely to undergo a complete repackaging.

Fabian Aichner has been absent from NXT television for a while now. On this week’s episode of NXT 2.0, the company aired a vignette of someone named Giovanni Vinci.

The video included. a video shot in Venice, Italy and shots of a well-dressed man. Emphasis was given to his fashion sense. His face was never shown but it is speculated that the man is none other than Fabian Aichner.

Aichner was born in Italy and there have been talks of him dropping his Imperium gimmick for good. We will have to wait and see when Aichner will be repackaged into Vinci. Odds are, it won’t be too long before he returns to NXT television.
