WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle is certainly one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever graced the squared circle. He has accomplished a lot in WWE, having won the World Title multiple times and taking part in many memorable moments and matches. He also underwent surgery recently and we’re wishing him the best.
Angle’s longstanding battle with painkiller addiction took its toll on him and his relationship with Vince McMahon also suffered in 2006. Kurt Angle would eventually turn his life around and never use painkillers again.
Kurt Angle’s body still suffered a lot due to his in-ring career and even now, he feels the effects. It was previously reported that Angle was set to undergo surgery sometime around this month.
The WWE Hall Of Famer took to Twitter and informed fans that he had both of his knees replaced in surgery. Angle made it clear he will make a full recovery.
“Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes for my 2 knee replacement surgeries today. So far so good. I realize rehab is going to be a b**ch, but I’m ready for it. If I won a gold medal with a broken freakin neck, I can handle this! Lol. It’s true!!!! Thank you all!!!!”
Angle was released from his role as WWE producer back in 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. He also wants WWE to push Chad Gable more. We’ll have to see whether Angle will ever return to WWE or not.
