WWE Not Feeling Pressure Due To Naomi’s Family Ties

Naomi and Sasha Banks stirred the pot when they walked out of WWE Raw last Monday. The fallout has resulted in several on-screen burials of the duo. On SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that the team was being stripped of the women’s tag titles and suspended indefinitely.

There has been a ton of speculation on what will happen next. Many believe that Sasha Banks has no plans to return. It has been pointed out that Naomi may have a little more flexibility with the company due to her family ties.

Naomi is the wife of Jimmy Uso and therefore related to Roman Reigns through marriage. The Bloodline could likely push for Naomi to be forgiven if it came down to that. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is not currently feeling any of that pressure.

“There has been no political pressure on WWE as far as the family situation [with Naomi] goes. I haven’t heard of anything from that side.”

Ringside News exclusively reported that there is a belief within WWE that Naomi was manipulated into leaving the show. Thus far, she has come across as the more sympathetic of the two women who walked out. Between that and her familial relationship with the biggest star in the company, Naomi could be the more likely of the two to return.

Those relationships have not played a factor in Naomi’s situation thus far. There are a lot of moving parts to this story, and things can change in an instant. Time will tell if Naomi’s relationship with The Bloodline will come into play as WWE decides how to handle this very delicate issue.
