Cody Rhodes left AEW back in February and fans were taken aback by this decision. They were under the impression Rhodes would stay with the company forever, but that was not the case. Rhodes is also sure AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view will be fine without him.

Rhodes was almost always booed in AEW during the end of his run in the company. Despite that, there is no denying that he helped put over many talents such as Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, MJF and more.

A fan took to Twitter and expressed his disappointment that Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes will not be competing at AEW Double Or Nothing. Cody replied to the fan, making it clear that he is sure the pay-per-view will be fine without him.

I’ve got my crosshairs on being inside Hell in a Cell, but I’m sure it’ll be just fine without me. I left a lot of love(and blood ha) imbued in that canvas. Very proud of that chapter.
