WWE Releases Matt Riddle Injury Update

This week’s episode of SmackDown ended with RK-Bro suffering a very big loss to the Usos. Now The Ones are the undisputed tag team champions and RK-Bro took quite a beating after the match was over too.

WWE released an injury update on Matt Riddle. He was selling an injured hip during the match, and that splash through the announce table afterward didn’t help matters much.

The update was likely kayfabe, but it is important nonetheless. Now fans will have to wait and see how the medical evaluation goes for the Original Bro.

“As a result of a vicious attack by The Bloodline in the wake of SmackDown’s Tag Team Title Unification Match, Riddle has suffered a bruised hip and lower back and both he and Randy Orton are undergoing a medical evaluation.”

Randy Orton and Matt Riddle are two of the three opponents lined up to face Roman Reigns next. Only time will tell how often The Tribal Chief ends up wrestling, but his schedule is set to be reduced in a big way.
