WWE have been hyping up the tag team championships unification bout for weeks. The company officially unified RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Champions tonight on SmackDown.

RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro squared off against SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Usos in the main event of SmackDown this week. Paul Heyman was featured pulling off commentary duties alongside Michael Cole and Pat McAfee.
The match ended in Usos’ favor after Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns showed up to help them. Roman Reigns knocked Matt Riddle off the top rope, which helped the Usos to clinch the victory with a splash.
WWE United Kingdom’s official Facebook account previously posted a photo of The Usos holding both the RAW and Smackdown Tag Team Titles, with the caption: “Who can stop them?” The post was deleted before being re-uploaded.
The unification match was made official during the main event of last week’s SmackDown when RK-Bro laid down the challenge for the Usos before Riddle rocked Reigns with a knee to the face. WWE had initially teased unifying the tag team titles at WrestleMania Backlash. That unification didn’t happen at the premium live event and, instead, WWE went ahead with the six-man tag team match between The Bloodline and RK-Bro.
