Sasha Banks and Naomi stirred up huge controversy when they walked out of Monday’s episode of Raw over creative differences. The incident has divided even the most loyal of the WWE fan base over whether Banks and Naomi’s behavior was justified. Many wrestlers within the company are showing no sympathy for the women’s tag champs.

There have been some shows of support. AEW’s Dax Harwood shared his side via Twitter. Many fans have also aligned themselves with Sasha Banks and Naomi. Several WWE main roster superstars do not feel the same way.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that there are not many tears being shed backstage for Sasha and Naomi. Bryan noted that several WWE talents feel like Sasha and Naomi simply refused to do their job. Many don’t understand why the pair was so upset in the first place.

“Both of you are going to be headlining a pay-per-view in singles championship matches and you walked out over that. What? This is your job. You’re not really the tag team champions. It’s fake. You were chosen to walk around with these two belts and do matches. Now they’ve come up with another idea to position you in a top position. They would’ve been in a top position on television for weeks setting up angles. Sasha would’ve laid out Ronda Rousey. I mean, all of that. They do all of that stuff leading to matches and that was creative that they decided, ‘We’re walking out of this company over that.’ So, very, very non-existent sympathy for Sasha Banks and [Naomi].

What do you mean bad take? I’m not even giving you a take. Why are you even mad at me? I’m telling you exactly what I’ve heard from multiple people within the company.”

Sasha Banks and Naomi did what they thought was the right thing. There are performers in the locker room who think it was a terrible idea to walk out. As more details about the story emerge, fans will have to decide for themselves how they feel about the situation.
