Sonya Deville Reacts to Storyline Fine Given by WWE

This week’s Monday Night Raw saw Sonya Deville assault a referee after a loss to Alexa Bliss. In what was her second straight-up loss, the former authority figure lost her cool and attacked the referee. She then left the ring in anger and a fine followed.

Adam Pearce later appeared on the WWE’s ‘The Bump’ and revealed that Deville was fined for an undisclosed amount. Pearce also said that he hoped Deville had learned her lesson after this latest lapse in error. Sonya Deville responded to this and tweeted out her frustration.

“Laps in judgment!? How about the refs ‘laps in judgment’ when he decided something was more important thank counting my WINNING pin! I won. IIII wonnnn. I WON. That match.”

Deville’s recent downturn in luck saw WWE officials cancelling her management contract. This was done so after an investigation found that she was abusing her power.

While Sonya Deville remains an active WWE Superstar but is no longer appearing on TV as an official, she still has not been assigned to a brand on the official WWE roster page. There’s no word yet on what Sonya Deville’s immediate future is. We will keep you updated on any future developments.
