Sammy Guevara Believes Fans Are Clamoring For Him To Become TNT Champion Again

Sammy Guevara became a huge hit with fans after his AEW debut, mostly due to his in-ring prowess and athleticism. He won the TNT Title on three occasions, defeating the likes of Miro, Cody Rhodes and Scorpio Sky. Guevara now believes fans want him to win the title again despite his nuclear heel turn.

The Spanish God lost the title to Scorpio Sky on the April 27th episode of Dynamite in a ladder match. Since then, Guevara has been on a mission to reclaim what he believes is rightfully his.

While speaking to “Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker,”  Sammy Guevara stated that he believes fans are clamouring for him to become the TNT Champion again, for the fourth or fifth time.

“I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say that I really can’t wait until I’m a four-time five-champion, and I think the people are clamoring for it. People really want it.”

Sammy Guevara also does not think anyone actually hates him and Tay Conti. Of course, Tony Khan himself admitted that he misread the fan reaction to Guevara and Conti. We’ll have to see if Guevara ends up winning the TNT Title again or not.
