Jeff Hardy is truly one of the most beloved professional wrestlers in the industry and not many would argue with that. Jeff Hardy has competed all over the world in different promotions, risking his body for the entertainment of fans. He is also certain about revisiting his rivalry with one of his greatest adversaries.
Back in 2009, Jeff Hardy and CM Punk engaged in one of the best feuds of their respective careers. It tackled Jeff Hardy’s real-life alcohol and substance abuse issues and turned CM Punk into a monster heel.
While speaking on Wrestling with Freddie, The Charismatic Enigma made it clear that he is sure he will revisit his feud with CM Punk in AEW somewhere down the line.
“One of my favorite things as far as, like, being World Champion was when [CM] Punk, and it’s so crazy we are in the same company now, and there’s a huge moment between me and Punk that’s going to come, I’m sure.”
CM Punk is set to challenge Adam Page for the AEW World Title at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 29th. On the other hand, Jeff and Matt Hardy are currently building a feud with The Young Bucks. It remains to be seen when Punk and Hardy will cross paths in AEW.
