Ariane Andrew, who performed under the name Cameron in WWE, started her journey on the Tough Enough reality series in 2011. She was eventually part of the Funkadactyls alongside Naomi and they bonded in a big way while traveling the globe. After Naomi walked off during RAW his week, Cameron has some big accusations.
Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on RAW moments after the show went on air this Monday. They even left the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on the desk of John Laurinaitis before exiting the arena.
Their walkout might have been due to contract issues, among other things. Not only that, but WWE threw huge shade at them and even released a statement on their walkout.
While speaking with SeScoops, Cameron talked bout Naomi walking out. Cameron stated that Naomi would never do this thing on her own. She accused Sasha Banks of manipulating Naomi into walking out.
“My girl Naomi, she wouldn’t do this and I feel like she wouldn’t do this unless she had someone manipulating and telling her how to do this. Let’s best believe if I was here, coming as a Funkadactyl we wouldn’t have this happening at all.
Again, Sasha is Sasha. You have Snoop Dogg as your cousin. You’re a top athlete, you can do whatever the f*ck you wanna do. You can literally say what you wanna say, do what you wanna do with no repercussion. And if you’re a star athlete, I feel like she can back it up. The one thing that she can do is she can back it up. It’s not like, ‘oh she can have all these people who can back her up without having the talent to do so or the beauty.’”
Ringside News also exclusively reported that there is a belief internally within WWE that Sasha Banks did, in fact, manipulate Naomi into walking out. That being said, Cameron’s claim seems to have a bit more weight to it.
Sasha Banks and Naomi are now considered ‘diva marks’ within WWE. They continue to get support from fans, but most within WWE have no sympathy for them. We will have to wait and see what will become of the two and you can keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
