The Bollywood Boyz got an incredible introduction at a recent WrestleCore show in western Canada. The former Singh Brothers were let go by WWE almost one year ago. At the Northern FanCon at CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, Bret Hart took to the ring to introduce Gurv and Harv Sihra.

The Hitman opened the event with a very strong endorsement of the Bollywood Boyz. The team got a great reaction from the crowd after being introduced by one of wrestling’s living legends. After the show, they took to Twitter to express their appreciation.

“‘And for starters, I couldn’t think of a better way of kicking off the show than to invite the Bollywood Boyz to come out here & kick some ass!’

 Thank you, Bret.”

The team followed up by reflecting on the journey to the big event. After eleven months of highs and lows, the team had every reason to think about calling it quits. They noted that it was moments like sharing the ring with Bret Hart that make them keep going.

The team regularly works the Pacific Northwest independent circuit. They are a fixture at the highly thought of DEFY promotion. Despite recent difficulties getting back and forth between Canada and the United States, they have kept their momentum going.
