Jeff Hardy achieved a level of success only a handful of pro wrestlers have managed in their careers. Hardy has competed all over the world in numerous promotions, undergoing changes everywhere. Those changes include his infamous Willow character who might also appear on AEW television.
Hardy made it clear he wanted a Willow vs Fiend feud in WWE. Unfortunately, that never happened for a lot of reasons. Hardy is now working in AEW and fans have wondered whether he will debut the Willow character in Tony Khan’s company.
While speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Jeff Hardy stated that there is a chance of his Willow character appearing in AEW. He added that Willow will never join The House of Black either.
“Yes, of course, there is [a chance Willow could appear in AEW] but not with House of Black. He is [inside of Jeff] and that’s it. When he comes out to play, he comes out and it’s going to be exciting.”
Jeff Hardy previously used his Willow character in Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and his promotion OMEGA which he ran with Matt Hardy. Willow made one brief cameo in WWE during Matt Hardy’s cinematic match, but it did not amount to anything. It remains to be seen whether fans will see the Willow character in AEW or not. It would certainly make for some compelling storylines.
