Wardlow Was Speechless After Jeff Hardy Complimented His Swanton Bomb

Wardlow has been one of the best things about AEW in the last few months and it was a slow and gradual path. Mr. Mayhem’s organic growth over the years has won him a lot of fan admiration as well. Wardlow also revealed what Jeff Hardy told him after he hit a Swanton Bomb on AEW television.

During the April 27th edition of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow squared off against ‘The Murderhawk Monster’ Lance Archer in a solid encounter. During one instance of the match, Wardlow performed the Swanton Bomb from the top rope.

While speaking to Superstar Crossover, Wardlow revealed that Jeff Hardy spoke to him backstage after the match. Hardy complimented Wardlow for his own version of the Swanton Bomb.

“After I did the Swanton against Lance Archer, I’m in the locker room and Jeff comes up, you know, gives me knuckles and goes, ‘That was a nice Swanton. Very graceful’ and I stood there with this smile on my face for about ten minutes, speechless. So to have Jeff Hardy compliment my Swanton Bomb was absolutely insane.”

AEW was also accused of copying Goldberg with Wardlow’s current storyline. Wardlow also admitted that his rise in AEW exceeded even his own expectations. It remains to be seen how Wardlow and MJF’s feud will progress as we heard towards AEW Double Or Nothing on May 29th.
