Roman Reigns rules over WWE as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The Head of the Table completely reinvented himself after his return in 2020 and the momentum is clearly with him right now. Jey Uso also commented on Reigns and Jimmy Uso’s feud that took place last year.
Jimmy Uso suffered a knee injury in March 2020 which put him on the shelf until May 2021. After his return, he had to earn the trust of The Tribal Chief to be included in the Bloodline.
While speaking on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Jey Uso stated that the storyline issues between his brother and cousin should have lasted longer.
“What I do wish would have happened was let Jimmy’s side of the story prolong more. It was just bad timing because we could have done way more with Jimmy’s side to show people different sides, different angles, different acting skills. We were trying to do it all.”
Jimmy Uso was also arrested and charged with DUI in Pensacola, Florida, on July 5th, 2021. This took place around the time Jimmy was supposed to have a feud with Reigns the same as Jey, but the arrest ultimately did not cause Jimmy’s departure from television. The Bloodline is stronger than ever now and that’s what matters to WWE at this moment.
