Hikaru Shida was recently pulled from the AEW Owen Hart Foundation tournament. The Japanese Superstar was replaced by Kris Statlander and Shida couldn’t be anymore happier.

It was said that Shida was removed due a legitimate injury but that is still questionable because she has wrestled in Japan since then. However, her situation is still unclear and no information is available regarding that.

Taking to Twitter today Shida, told her fans that she had to take ‘sudden holidays’. Which is still a vague way of describing things. This has led many to speculate that this could be a work. She was also happy about Kris replacing her

“I’m glad from my heart that Kris is in the tournament now. And I’m gonna try to enjoy sudden holidays in Japan because it has been a while before I had. Be positive!,” Shida wrote

If this is not work, hopefully she recovers well and comes back at full health. However, Shida did mention that it’s been a while she got any holiday meaning Tony Khan allowed her to take time off from her tiring schedule.
