Brian Pillman Jr. has been a staple of the tag team division ever since signing with AEW. Living up to his father’s huge legacy has been tough, but Brian has proven to be a fighter. Thanks to a recent announcement, Brian can now refer to himself as a “Hollywood Blond” just like his dad did.
Pillman posted on Twitter yesterday that he had an exciting announcement. It turns out, Brian has been cast for an upcoming feature film. He will play the role of Harold in the upcoming movie “The Charisma Killers.”
The film is written and directed by Michael Matteo Rossi. Pillman will join fellow wrestler Jessie McKay, who was cast as “Swinger Wife” in the movie. It will be an action flick that focuses on a mentor and his cult of murderers, according to IMDB.
“When the old mentor of 7 killers finds out he has terminal cancer, he gives them all an opportunity at his fortune to prove themselves for one night only to exact revenge.”
Pillman noted in a tweet sharing the news that he has graduated from a Varsity Blond to a Hollywood Blond. This is, of course, a reference to his father’s famous WCW tag team with Steve Austin. Brian Pillman Jr. is very pumped up to give acting a shot.
Things aren’t going as well for his AEW character. After the House of Black attempted to turn Julia Hart to the dark side, the Blonds were left without a valet. Time will tell how that works out, but for now, Brian is thrilled to give it a go on the big screen.
