Slammiversary is one of the “big four” pay-per-view events (along with Hard to Kill, Rebellion and Bound for Glory) for Impact Wrestling. This year’s Slammiversary event takes place in Nashville on June 19th. The card for the show is starting to take shape.
Impact legend Gail Kim announced during tonight’s IMPACT tapings that the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship will be defended in the first ever Queen of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary.
For those not in the know, IMPACT used to held King of the Mountain match regularly from 2004 up until 2010. The five-person reverse ladder match made its return in 2015.
IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz will defend her title against Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, Jordynna Grace, and Mia Yim in the first ever Queen of the Mountain Ladder match.
Plus, Eric Young will challenge Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary. Young won the shot after winning the Gauntlet for Gold during tonight’s IMPACT taping. Rest of the card will take shape in the leadup to Slammiversary.
