CM Punk has already become a highlight of AEW television ever since his debut back in August 2021. Fans are simply happy to see him doing what he loves doing the most. Punk also got dragged over his recent comments about Eric Bischoff.

The Second City Saint previously claimed that there are no longer any casual fans in pro wrestling. Eric Bischoff disagreed with this claim and proceeded to blast Punk for the same as well.

This led to an absolutely scathing reply from CM Punk, who essentially buried Eric Bischoff. Several fans also took to Reddit and dragged CM Punk over his comments, as many stated that Punk is simply bitter in general.

“Punk must be sore about the fact that his triumphant return drew extra fans for a couple of weeks but then pushed people away. He must be especially wounded about the fact that since his main event push against Hangman, the ratings have steadily dropped for Dynamite and Rampage. Maybe Punk could learn from listening to someone like Bischoff, who did make stars who could draw money. He’s a needle mover, just in the wrong direction.

Most of these veteran wrestling talents attack current day wrestling for engagement. Without it, they wouldn’t be doing close to the numbers that they currently do. Their podcasts and bank accounts depend on it.

“What’s the bad faith? His point is AEW is not growing a fanbase. Punk came in and it hasn’t made any difference everything is pretty much the same as when he arrived

Punk is a fantastic performer, entertaining and always fun to watch. He’s also a miserable, thin skinned b**ch of a human being for some reason if anyone does or says the least little thing he disagrees with

Eric Bischoff also made fun of CM Punk’s failed UFC career in response to his scathing remarks. CM Punk might just respond to Bischoff again with another scathing reply. Regardless, there are many fans out there who simply believe CM Punk should grow up.
