WWE Switching Up Plans For Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans recently re-debuted on WWE SmackDown. Evans has been presented as a babyface, sharing her difficult but inspiring life story with fans. WWE is now once again switching gears as far as Lacey’s plans.

The company had hoped Lacey’s story of inspiration would get her over huge as a fan favorite. After a few weeks of vignettes where she told her story, Lacey will no longer be a good guy. She will also no longer be on SmackDown.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider has reported that WWE will be switching brands for Lacey Evans. Lacey has been moved to the Raw roster. She will be a heel once she debuts there.

On this week’s SmackDown, Lacey appeared before the crowd with new patriotic-themed music. She was set to become a hero. The southern belle gimmick was gone completely.

Now, Evans will have to start all over again. With the move to Raw and the switch over to portraying a heel, she will have to adjust to some big changes in her character. There is no word on how WWE will turn Lacey heel, or even if it will be explained.

We will have to see what’s next for Lacey Evans as she makes the move to Monday Night Raw. Her heroic introduction to the blue brand didn’t last very long. Fans could know more about her plans as soon as Monday.
