Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest star in WWE at the moment. The Tribal Chief has been on GOD Mode ever since he turned heel and aligned himself with Paul Heyman. Reigns recently signed a new deal with the company that allows him to work limited deals.

According to Andrew Zarian, Roman Reigns won’t be taking extended time off from WWE television. This contradicts reports that Reigns was planning on taking time off this summer. The only noticeable change in his new deal is that he won’t work smaller house shows going forward.

Spoke to someone over at WWE regarding Roman & his schedule moving forward. It’s not expected for Roman to take extended time off. He will be on PLEs & TV. The only change will be with smaller market house show, which is why he showed his gratitude to the fans in Trenton NJ.

Fans have been debating Reigns’ future ever since he hinted at stepping away from pro wrestling at a house show. The Tribal Chief sparked a fury of speculation when he said on microphone, “I’m starting to work into a new phase in my career, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back here again.”

Reigns was part of the non-title six-man tag match at WrestleMania Backlash two nights ago. It was previously reported that Vince McMahon is saving Reigns’ first Undisputed WWE Universal title defense for a stadium show.

Reigns hasn’t been pinned in nearly two years. Odds are he will continue his reign on top of WWE, because it’s hard to imagine what Vince McMahon’s company would do without him at this point. We’ll have to wait to see who the next opponent is for the Tribal Chief.
