Sonya Deville Fired As An Authority Figure On WWE RAW This Week

Sonya Deville joined Triple H’s NXT and worked hard to cement herself as a legitimate worker on the black and gold brand. She got called to the main roster in 2017. Recently, she lost a very important position on RAW.

Sonya Deville was involved in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce tonight on RAW. Pearce told her that WWE management has come to the conclusion that her conduct as an authority figure was unprofessional and that he’s been relieved of her duties.

Pearce then introduced her opponent for the night, Alexa Bliss. Sonya is no longer an on-screen authority figure and is back to being a singles competitor on the main roster.

Sonya misused her authority to set up a title match against RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair last month on RAW. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Deville, but she jobbed to Alexa Bliss tonight.
