Neither RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair nor WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks were booked to defend their titles on the show, which caused quite an uproar on social media.
Former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch saw the lack of title defenses at WrestleMania Backlash as an opportunity to throw a subtle shade at Bianca Belair. Big Time Becky had this to say:
When I was champ, my title was defended on every ppv. #WWEBacklash
Bianca was well aware of Lynch taking shots at her on social media and called out the former RAW Women’s Champion for questioning the EST’s work ethic and credibility.
Coming from the woman who literally HANDED her title over and lost it the last time she defended it… Girl, GTH Don’t ever come for my work ethic and/or credibility… cause you tried it! And oh yeah, Happy Mother Days.
Bianca won the RAW Women’s Championship from Becky at WrestleMania 38. She successfully defended it against Sonya Deville two weeks ago on RAW. Becky, meanwhile, has kickstarted her feud with Asuka on the red brand.
