Stephanie De Landre is an Australian professional wrestler who was signed to WWE. She used to compete as Persia Pirotta on the NXT 2.0 brand. Many releases left creative with a lot in the air and she had a couple of storylines planned but they ended as well.

As previously reported, Persia Pirotta was among the many NXT talent released by the company last week. This didn’t come as a shock to her at all either and there is a good reason for that.

While speaking with Sean Ross Sapp, Persia Pirotta discussed what WWE originally planned for her before she was let go last week.

“That was initially kind of where our story was going to go. I was going to turn on Indi, and we were going to run through the same story we did at MCW. Even to the point where I was showing them what we did in Melbourne, and I had told them the history of our friendship. I had meetings like I told them everything and that this story writes itself. We literally did it in Australia, and what the ultimate screw-over for us was to meant to be going within three months of each other; she gets it, and I get screwed for two years.”

Persia Pirotta also made it clear she won’t let her WWE release destroy her. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Persia Pirotta.
