Willie Mack has wrestled his final match for Impact Wrestling. On last night’s episode of Impact, he teamed with Rich Swan to take on Jay White and Chris Bey in a losing effort. Today, Mack took to social media to announce his future plans.
Mack said his contract expired and he has declined a new offer from the company. He now plans to hit the independent circuit. Mack said he is open for bookings.
“After last nights Impact episode I am no longer with @IMPACTWRESTLING. My contract has expired and I decided to decline their new offer. So now I’m gonna be doing my thing on the independents. Hit up bookwilliemack@gmail.com if you want to see me in ya city or town. #MackMode”
Willie Mack is no stranger to the indies. He began his career working the California circuit before rising to national prominence with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Mack had a cup of coffee with WWE in 2014 but was released before he ever arrived in Orlando to start with NXT.
Mack has been with Impact since 2018. There, he was a former X Division Champion. Willie is also a former NWA National Champion and twice held the Lucha Underground trios titles.
There should be no shortage of promoters ready and willing to book Willie Mack. With his Impact run finished, he is now free to work wherever he wants. With many other wrestlers locked down to exclusive contracts, he should be in high demand.
