Big E had to cross a lot of hurdles over the years during his time in WWE. He reached the top of the food chain by becoming the WWE Champion last year as well but that did not last very long. He also shared some unfortunate news regarding his recovery.
Back in April, Big E gave fans a huge shock after he was dumped on his head by Ridge Holland via a belly to belly suplex. Big E was said to have suffered a broken neck due to the bump, which ended up being the case.
Big E himself then revealed that he will not be requiring any surgery. It has been a while since then but by the looks of it, his recovery is not going well that well.
Big E took to Twitter and shared some unfortunate news regarding his recovery. The former WWE Champion revealed that his C1 “apparently isn’t healing optimally” and will need to stay in a neck brace for 4-6 more weeks.
For those desirous of an update, my C1 apparently isn’t healing optimally. I’ll spend another 4-6 weeks in a brace in hopes that I can avoid a fusion. But don’t you fret! I’ve got a tremendous support system & what shall be shall be.
This is certainly sad news for fans of Big E and we here at Ringside News wish him a speedy recovery. It is certain fans will be overjoyed once Big E does make his return to WWE television.
