Serena Deeb is one of the most talented and gifted in-ring female pro wrestlers to have graced the pro wrestling world in a very long time. Deeb has been through a tremendous journey through pro wrestling. She is also grateful for working in AEW.

Serena Deeb used to work in WWE as part of CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society group. She eventually honed her craft in various promotions all over the world before joining AEW in 2020.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Serena Deeb talked about being a coach while also competing in AEW. Deeb explained how it is a privilege that AEW gave her, which WWE never did.

“I’m embracing both [being a wrestler and trainer]. I love both. As far as in-ring goes, I’m nowhere near [being finished]. I’ve got years left in me, years. I do really enjoy helping others as well. The coaching is definitely inside me still, and AEW is great in the sense that they allow me to do both, you know? I didn’t have that before, that privilege before in my other job [with WWE], so it’s great that Tony trusts me a lot to help the women, do both roles.”

Serena Deeb recently concluded her feud with Hikaru Shida in a brutal street fight. We’ll have to see what the company has planned next for The Professor.
