WWE has recently been on a tour of Europe, with shows and events being held in England, France, and Germany. Sheamus is popular with those fans, but he wasn’t around for a couple dates.
Sheamus was active during the tour, but was surprisingly absent for Saturday’s Live Event in Paris. He subsequently also missed the Sunday event in Leipzig. This led to speculation by fans on whether the Celtic Warrior was injured or not online, but the reason for this has been revealed.
According to a report by PW Insider, Sheamus is doing just fine. The report says that Sheamus was not used to give more ring-time to his stable-mate Butch. The former ‘Bruiserweight’ worked multiple matches with current Intercontinental Champion Ricochet. Sami Zayn was also added to the mix to make for some exciting Triple Threat matches.
For those who have asked about Sheamus not wrestling on the European tour over the weekend, we are told that was a specific decision made to give Butch ring time, not something spurred on by an injury issue.
Currently, it is not known on whether Sheamus and his stable will be involved on the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash. The trio have been making waves since their formation earlier this year. Sheamus’ last match was a victory against Kofi Kingston on the April 22nd Edition of Smackdown.
