WWE has been releasing several employees including WWE Superstars for the past couple of years. This began with the release of Superstars such as Chelsea Green and Mickie James in April. It was just the beginning after that.
It eventually led to the company releasing several NXT stars and main roster talent since then as well. As part of WWE’s latest set of releases, the company let go of Malcolm Bivens, Dakota Kai, Harland, Persia Pirotta, Raelyn Divine, Draco Anthony, Vish Kanya, Mila Malani, and Blair Baldwin.
While speaking on Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer stated that more NXT 2.0 releases could be happening from now on.
“Yeah, I think so. I’ve had people say that but no one really knows other than Vince and everything. You kind of hear rumblings the day before that this is gonna be the bad day, which actually I had heard on April 13th and 14th that the 15th is gonna be the bad day. Then it came and went and then it happened two weeks later and I would think that would be it for NXT but there were no main roster [releases].”
WWE is determined to release as many talents as they can at this point in time and it is highly unlikely they will stop anytime soon. Unfortunately, We have to see who will be next on the chopping block.
