AJ Styles has been considered one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and wrestlers alike and it is not hard to understand why. Styles continues to work at a high level despite growing older and continues to amaze fans. Angle also has a high opinion of AJ Styles.

The Phenomenal One made a name for himself in promotions such as TNA, NJPW and more, honing his craft and sharpening his skills every year. Since his appearance in the 2016 Royal Rumble, AJ Styles competed in top feuds against the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena and numerous other stars.

While speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, Kurt Angle was asked to choose between Bryan Danielson and AJ Styles. Angle stated that Styles is a better wrestler simply because he has never faced Danielson.

“That’s tough, they’re identical, they’re so much alike and as far as their styles and everything they do, they’re great at submission, they’re great at highflying, they’re great at anything that belongs in the ring.

I will say this, I will pick AJ only because I wrestled him. I never wrestled Daniel Bryan and if I did I might change my mind, so I’m saying AJ right now because I wrestled him.”

AJ Styles is currently engaged in a feud with Edge while Bryan Danielson is busy being a part of the Blackpool Combat Club in AEW. We’ll have to see how both of them progress in their respective companies.
